Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. Mine was really relaxing but now I am broke and fat.

Not a good combination. So glad the new year is coming up. My resolution is to work out and not eat as if my stomach has a black hole.

Couple weeks back I went to San Diego to photograph a happy couple; Xuan and Sean. I’m grateful I got to meet such wonderful and genuinely nice people.

Sean proposed to Xuan on the Star of India ship at the Maritime Museum.
So it was fitting we went there for the shoot.

Happy 2-day-after halloween everybody! Let me share with you my favorite costume of the night.

I didn’t have much time to prepare my costume. So many ideas, so little time. At first I wanted to be a zombie Abe Lincoln but couldn’t get all the pieces in time. I had to settle for this …

It may look like I’m holding Wilson but in fact his name is Voit.

Anyway, did a semi-trash-the-dress session with Caroline and Frank. They have been married for couple months now and Caroline wanted to do one more shoot with her dress before she mummifies it. Their wedding was so much fun and full of DIY projects so I was thrilled to work with them again. From the first shoot (engagement session) to this one, they have been creative and made it so easy for me.

Mike and Steph. Funny. Sweet. Energetic. Perfect.

God couldn’t have matched a more perfect couple than these two. Still can’t believe you guys will be married in less than a month!

When we were little kids I remember when Mike used to practice wrestling moves on me. Suplex, body-slams, sharp-shooters. I was tempted to Photoshop some pimples on his face

Hello ello~
Hope everyone is doing well and staying cool. (this heat is ridiculous!) I’ve been really busy of late finishing up albums and editing.

Got a chance to shoot  Chris and Young Hui’s engagement session several weeks ago. They are so cute together and they have a great sense of humor. After e-mailing them back and forth it was good to finally meet them when they came to visit California. We did our engagement session on a baseball diamond in Brea (because Chris played college ball) and then went to Santa Monica Pier. A special thanks to Josh (Young Hui’s brother and Jenny Min for helping out)

They are getting married in Rochester, NY next year and I am excited to fly out to shoot their wedding.! Seriously, cannot wait!

Hello everyone! I can’t believe it’s already mid August. Summer is whizzing by!
I shot this few months back but totally forgot to post it up.

Cindy and Joey tied the knot in June. I really really wanted to shoot their wedding but I was already booked that day. I was really happy when they asked me to do their engagement session.

We got some great shots at Venice Beach even though it was freezing cold and the winds blew like crazy. Cindy and Joey tuffed it out and I got to capture some intimate moments. Enjoy!

Ello everybody! The past several weeks have been busy. All day, everyday, photoshop and doing album designs. Love it!

Eunice and Sam are an amazing couple. They first met at Grace Mission International and fell in love! The first location we went to was Norwalk Adult school. This may seem like a random place but it’s really beautiful with really cool archways. This was the 1st location of their church so it was meaningful for them. They also filmed Freddy Kruger, Grease and other movies there!

Our second stop was at a Lake near Riverside. This lake is for fishing enthusiasts, which Sam is, but it photographed beautifully.

It was great to see them really care about this shoot and put in a lot of effort. Thanks guys!

Several weeks ago I got to hang out and work with an amazing couple. Josh and Christina are very easy to get a long with because they are down to earth and very relaxed people. I loved how they made each other laugh.

Even though Christina is a die-hard Dodger // Raider fan and Josh is a die-hard Yankees // Jets fan, they get a long really well!

This shoot was fun because they made it personal and really showed off their personality. Can’t wait to shoot your wedding!!

Couple weeks back I got a chance to do a shoot with this adorable couple. Cynthia and David are madly in love and throughout the shoot they couldn’t stop smiling! They found me on Google and they came in to meet with me. It turned out that we went to the same church! Talk about a small world.

Our first stop was at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, CA. Then we did our casual shoot in Downtown Culver City. Viceroy Hotel definitely has one of the most unique backdrops in all of Southern California. Cynthia and David rocked the shoot! It was really fun hanging out with you guys.

Can’t wait to shoot your wedding at the Muckenthaler Mansion later this year! :)

Wahoo! Congrats to James and Janelle. They are now Mr. and Mrs. Pak. They tied the knot this past Saturday and they looked radiant! The ceremony was beautiful and full of emotion and the reception rocked with great food and great guests. I will put up their wedding photos in a couple weeks.
