Hello hello~

Last week I watched Megamind in 3D with my awesome friends. This movie was really good and I dont usually like 3D because it gives me a headache but I enjoyed every bit of it. If you haven’t watched it, read my post, gather up $14 and go watch it.

In the movie Megamind has a side-kick named Minion. He is always there for him, does all the little things right and makes Megamind a better person.

The Minion in my life is my trusty Nikon D700. Although my other cameras have failed while perfoming the D700 hasn’t. Autofocus on this thing is magical! Even produces sharp pictures in low-light. I have always wanted to give my camera a name but nothing came to mind. Now, my D700 will be called Minion.

Anywho, Amy picked up one of my postcards at Tranquil Tea in Downtown Fullerton. (best tea place in Fullerton. Their flour-less cake is heaven!) They wanted to take pictures for Christmas cards so I went over to their house and a trail near by for the shoot. Shane and Amy have been married for over a year now. (thanks april for correcting my grammar)  These two are really cute together. Shane is calm and collected and Amy is hilarious and sweet.

Hello errbody – - ! My goodness it’s November already. That means the holiday season is right around the corner. Time to gain 20 lbs

I got a chance to take some portraits for Leena. She is an associate wedding coordinator (not sure what her exact position is) for www.mybridestory.com They have been featured in so many magazines and has been recognized by greenweddingshoes.com , stylemepretty.com  and other popular sites.

They come highly recommended and would be my first choice for wedding planning.

I introduce a new and super talented electronic pop band; Orion. Now, most electro-pop music features a vocalist who sounds like he is in high school. BUT! the lead singer of this band, James Paek, sounds like John Legend. Can you imagine electro-pop music with the vocals of John Legend? It’s a new breed of music.
If you don’t know them yet, it is probably a good idea to like them now before they get super famous and you can say “I liked them before it was cool to like them.”

Have you been watching the World Cup? The two teams I’m rooting for has advanced to the sweet 16! (Korea & Usa) The USA vs Algeria was intense! Who better to score the winning goal than Landon Donovan … well deserved!

I have been searching for a new camera bag. I LOVE the Kelly Moore bags because it’s really stylish and does not look like a camera bag. I like this one ::

I also really like the Shootsac because it’s build specifically for comfort and changing lenses quickly   ::

Anyway, I got a chance to take Maternity photos for Shannon. She wanted to share this special time in her life with her closest friends. (Ann, Esther, Jasmine) We had a lot of fun and at one point I couldn’t stop laughing … you girls are funny!

This past Sunday I got to shoot the Kim family. I have known Betsy and Betty for 17 years now?? I remember at church retreats I would cry because I missed my mom and Betty took care of me…and I think Betsy made fun of me
They are good people with a great sense of humor.
Anyway, Both of them have a gorgeous family now.
Although the sky was gloomy and hazy, we still managed to get good shots! Hope you enjoy!

Alrighty, here we go … After many inquires about baby and family portraits, I was meaning to make portrait work available to everyone at the beginning of the new year. However, the month of January has been real busy
(thank you awesome California weather!)

As of now, I am available for portrait work. All portrait sessions will be on-location of your choice
(i can also recommend places) We will collaborate on wardrobe, props or any other artistic vision you have.

Prices will start at $250
complete packages w/ album will start at $750

To help launch this project, I am offering a
16×20 canvas with any portrait session booked in the month of Feb.
