I introduce a new and super talented electronic pop band; Orion. Now, most electro-pop music features a vocalist who sounds like he is in high school. BUT! the lead singer of this band, James Paek, sounds like John Legend. Can you imagine electro-pop music with the vocals of John Legend? It’s a new breed of music.
If you don’t know them yet, it is probably a good idea to like them now before they get super famous and you can say “I liked them before it was cool to like them.”

Got a chance to shoot a short, intimate wedding at the Garden Suite Hotel in Los Angeles. Brandon and Judy are a sweet couple that is all about God, family and tradition. The couple honored their heritage by performed a PAE BAEK (traditional Korean tea ceremony) Without further ado ::

“Yippee ya yay, mini sirloin burgers!” This jingle was stuck in my head all week! Now, I crave those little burgers. Do they still have them at Jack in the Box? hmmm I should go today and find out.

Anyway, got a chance to shoot an engagement session with Jason and Arum. They are from Arizona but their family lives here in Socal. It was a lot of fun walking around the streets of LA w/ them.  Jason is shy by nature, but Arum made him laugh throughout the shoot. (Shy by Nature would be an awesome band name)

Have you been watching the World Cup? The two teams I’m rooting for has advanced to the sweet 16! (Korea & Usa) The USA vs Algeria was intense! Who better to score the winning goal than Landon Donovan … well deserved!

I have been searching for a new camera bag. I LOVE the Kelly Moore bags because it’s really stylish and does not look like a camera bag. I like this one ::

I also really like the Shootsac because it’s build specifically for comfort and changing lenses quickly   ::

Anyway, I got a chance to take Maternity photos for Shannon. She wanted to share this special time in her life with her closest friends. (Ann, Esther, Jasmine) We had a lot of fun and at one point I couldn’t stop laughing … you girls are funny!

This past Sunday I got to shoot the Kim family. I have known Betsy and Betty for 17 years now?? I remember at church retreats I would cry because I missed my mom and Betty took care of me…and I think Betsy made fun of me
They are good people with a great sense of humor.
Anyway, Both of them have a gorgeous family now.
Although the sky was gloomy and hazy, we still managed to get good shots! Hope you enjoy!

The Hyatt Regency Hotel in Huntington Beach is a beautiful and extravagant resort. Great for pictures because of all the elegant fountains, classically decorated lobby, and a bridge that leads to the sands of Huntington Beach.

The two love birds decided to break wedding traditions by seeing each other before the wedding ceremony. We set up the “first look” in one of the halls and from there everything just fell in place.

Another long weekend has passed. Some numbers for you; 3 weddings, 3 days, 2 Starbucks venti iced coffees, 2 5-Hour Energy and 2 XS Energy drinks, 1 tired asian dude.

I absolutely love shooting at the Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano. The ceremony and reception is all in one place and the entire area makes for a great backdrop. Enjoy!
